The scope includes the replacement of about 2,240 linear feet of aging steel sheet pile bulkheads, and will address the aging North Bulkhead at the Entrance Channel. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The Broward County Seaport Engineering and Facilities Maintenance Division is soliciting proposals to engage the services of a qualified firm to provide professional design and engineering consulting services for a series of bulkhead replacement projects guided by the latest Port Everglades Master Plan Update. The projects include the replacement of approximately 9,000 linear feet of steel sheet pile bulkheads of various configurations and condition most of which were constructed in the 1950s and 1960s. Upland improvements to aprons will be consistent to that required for bulkhead replacement waterward of the existing bulkheads. Services shall include deep-water marine structural engineering, corrosion protection, berthing and mooring analysis, civil and utility engineering, geotechnical investigations and foundation engineering, scour analysis and scour protection, bathymetric and topographic surveying, coral and benthic habitat surveys, regulatory agency permitting, construction cost estimating and project scheduling, as well as contract administration, construction engineering and construction inspection.
