Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Florissant, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Scope of Work includes; Small Building Demolition, Grading, Concrete Walkway Pavement, Restroom Building, Playground and Related Utilities and Misc. Site Improvements There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Florissant shall award any contract based on the proposal that, in its sole discretion, best meets the interests and requirements of the City. The City of Florissant reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities or deficiencies in any or all the proposals, to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for other or more favorable terms or prices, and/or to award the contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost proposal, with or without negotiation. This project is tax exempt. A tax exemption letter will be made available to the successful bidder upon request.
