As of June 10 2021 The project has not been awarded. Construction of 5,123+- linear feet of a combination of 8-inch/12-inch gravity sewer, 30 Hp sewer lift station, 8,210+- linear feet of 8-inch HDPE/DIP force main sewer, and 6,005+- linear feet of 12-inch DIP water main and appurtenances. All bids will be opened at the designated date and time of receipt. Failure to deliver a bid in the format required will result in disqualification. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of the County. This project will exceed $100,000 and therefore this project will be subject to the Public Works Construction Law, OCGA Sec. 36-91-1 et seq. The time allowed for Substantial Completion for the gravity sewer, sewer lift station, and force main sewer is 180 days from the date of notice to proceed with the time allowed for Substantial Completion for the water main at 300 days from the date of notice to proceed. The time allowed for final completion and readiness for final payment is 330 days from the date of notice to proceed. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date.
