Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Toronto, Ontario. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Upgrade and retrofit of existing Settled Sewage Channels (SSCs), Mixed Liquor Channels (MLCs) and Split flow conduit (SFC), construction of a new channel mixing system, Upgrade and retrofit of existing of Eastern Blower Building with new blowers including all associated systems, Removal of existing Air Header B, and upgrade and retrofit to Aeration Gallery. The scope includes replacement of weir gates and addition of new channel mixing systems; addition of a new above-ground process air ducting (Header); addition of new west and east side control buildings including associated infrastructure for electrical distribution; replacement of an electrical substation and power feeders and construction of a new additional electrical substation including power feeders and associated systems; replacement of an existing blower and preliminary design only for the future replacement of all remaining blowers and associated systems in the East Blower Building including electrical, instrument, controls and network systems along with required building renovations. TIMELINE: The civil engineer completed detailed design and construction administration of two new conventional activated sludge aeration trains (AT) 12 &13, new Blower Building, new above ground Air Header, new Electrical Substation, and all associated systems and equipment Upgrade and retrofit of existing AT1 through AT11, including all associated systems and equipment. Tender for the first contact for blowers for supply and install is expected to go out Q1 2025. The tender for contractors for Secondary upgrades is expected in 2026, timing is not finalized at this time. Construction will proceed sequentially. *Preliminary design was completed by AECOM.
