Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project scope shall include approximately 46,000 CY of mass grading; installation of approximately 2,680 LF of 8" PVC water line; 2,540 LF of 8" gravity sanitary sewer; and 1,640 LF of 24"-60" RCP storm sewer. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check, from a responsible bank in the State of Texas, or a Bid Bond, issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Make the Cashier's Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Owner. The successful bidder must furnish within seven (7) calendar days from the date the Contractor is notified that the Contract Documents are available for pick up, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond on the forms furnished with the Contract Documents, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price. The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work within five (5) calendar days from the date written notice to do so shall have been given to him and to substantially complete the First Stage Phase within seventy five (75) calendar days and to substantially complete the Second Stage Phase within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of the written notice to commence work. Project site is located via FM 1488 along Old Conroe Road.
