Renovation of a mixed-use development in Warren, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; parking garage; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: The removal and disposal of existing asphalt roofing system and associated underlayments down to the existing roof sheathing and replacing with new asphalt shingle roofing system and all associated underlayments. The scope of work includes Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, the Community Building, Garage, Screened Patio and Storage Sheds. Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bonding requirements and other bidding and contract requirements as set forth in the construction documents. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Warren Housing Authority at (401) 245-7019 seventy-two (72) hours prior to the bid opening. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Warren Housing Authority. Bid Forms and Bid. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendees are required to wear a face mask and social-distancing practices will be obligatory. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. The Warren Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it be in the public interest to do so. Female: 6.9% Minorities: 1.6%
