Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Haines City, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of 9/2/2020 project was not yet been awarded. No estimated time frame yet. The project consists of the demolition of existing filters and construction and installation of two new disc filters in the existing sand filter structure, including all and associated structural modifications, piping appurtenances, electrical, instrumentation and controls. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable Bid bond or certified check as specified in the Bid Form. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the bid opening date. The project is funded with funds from Florida's Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF). SRF project requirements include Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, American Iron and Steel and Davis-Bacon Act requirements and provisions all provision required by the SRF program must be met by the Bidder and all subcontractors. Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid on this project. The City reserves the following rights: to waive informalities in any bid/proposal/quote; to reject any or all bids/proposals/quotes or portions of bids/proposals/quotes; to accept a bid/proposal/quote or portions of bids/proposals/quotes deemed to be in the best interest of the City; and to negotiate or refuse to negotiate with any offer.
