Online Q&A : Yes Q&A Deadline : 11/08/2021 11:00 AM (PDT) Pre-Bid Meeting No Project Duration 120 Working Days Liquidated Damages $1,000.00 per day License Requirements Class A California State License The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. The project includes completely upgrade the existing traffic signal system to add protected westbound and eastbound left-turn signal phases and re-profile the intersection pavement to minimize adverse grade situation. The construction efforts are required for signal pole replacement, traffic signal system adjustment, streetlight pole removal, traffic signal cabinet installation, foundation construction, ADA ramp construction, curb and gutter reconstruction, street paving and resurfacing, driveway reconstruction, irrigation system recovering, fire hydrant relocation, pull box relocation and etc. The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that the bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids.
