Renovation of a municipal facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Backup Generator Installations in 2020 at various municipal buildings: City Hall (199 Queen St) to operate all circuits, current 125kW older unit confined in basement operates most but not all circuits. May be single new unit for City Hall and Fire #1; consultant will address pros/cons; Fire Station #1 (100 Kent St) to operate all circuits, current 16kW powers some circuits; Fire Station #2 (152 St Peters Rd) to operate all circuits, none currently, leased site; Police Station (10 Kirkwood Dr) to operate all circuits, current 62kW powers many circuits; Sherwood Hall (58 Maple Ave) review move of existing Fire Station #1 unit to site. TIMELINE: Engineering contract was awarded in 2020. Tenders are being issued sequentially through 2022/2023, projects will be followed separately as they proceed. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
