Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the construction of the site landscaping package associated with a parking lot project under separate contract. Work elements include, but are not limited to, placing topsoil, fine grading and installation of the shrubs, ornamental grass, and trees around the perimeter of the site and within the landscaping islands. Functional landscaping includes placing topsoil, fine grading and all permanent seeding within the swales and around the perimeter of the project. Prospective bidders will be required to coordinate with the parking lot contractor that is responsible for rough grading the site under separate contract. A certified or cashier’s check payable to the City of Valparaiso or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount.
