Site work for a power facility in Wellfleet, Nebraska. Working plans call for site work for a power facility.
Plans to construct a 345,000 volt transmission line from NPPD Gerald Gentleman Station near Sutherland to NPPD existing substation east of Thedford. The new line will then proceed east and connect to a second substation to be sited in Holt County. As of August 15, 2024, a general contractor has been selected, but the project is currently on hold. Construction has been temporarily halted due to an injunction. The owner is waiting to go back to court to have it remove and continue construction.
