Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Nanton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project will involve the removal and disposal of an 1800 mm x 15.5 m CSP and a 600 mm diameter x 17.7 m CSP and the construction of a new 14 m long clear span SL510 Girder Bridge on a Steel Substructure at Bridge File 84546 located along the Forestry Trunk Road over Speers Creek (NW 36-12-04 W5M). The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization Traffic Accommodation Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing Removal and Disposal of Existing Culverts Excavation and Backfill Channel Excavation and Salvaging of the Existing Substrate Material Drilled Cast-in-Place Steel H-Piling (Plain and Galvanized) Construction of Steel Abutments and Wingwalls Supply, Delivery, and Erection of Precast Concrete Girders Supply and Placement of Class 3 – Heavy Rock Rip Rap Placement of Salvaged Substrate in Class 3 Rip Rap Supply and Installation of Thrie Beam Bridgerail and Steel Posts Supply and Installation of W-Beam Guardrail with Treated Timber Posts Roadway Work Other Work
