Site work and paving for a road / highway in Paramus, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All RFIs must be submitted to Gerald Reiner, Purchasing Agent, in writing via e-mail to greiner@co.bergen.nj.us no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, June 26, 2020. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Bergen County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful bidders contract. All Bid Addenda will be issued on the website as well as in accordance with 40A:11-23c. Therefore, all interested respondents should check the website from now through bid opening. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq. Bidders shall comply with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.37 and 34:11-56.38 of the Prevailing Wage Act Gerald T Reiner Jr, CCPO, QPA Due to COVID-19 prospective contractors will not be allowed in the building for the opening. All vendors dropping bids off shall wear a mask and be screened for temperature. The refusal to wear or mask or be screened shall cause the County of Bergen to deny entry.
