Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Moncton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
A Letter of Good Standing under the Certificate of Recognition Program (COR) issued by the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA) and a bid bond, made payable to the City of Moncton, in the amount of 10% of the total tendered price (taxes included), must accompany each tender. This project consists of the replacing an existing crossing with twin 2400 mm concrete culvert, 84 metres in length, set at a 0.5% slope. The culverts are to be installed be trenchless technology. An energy dissipation pool (12.5 m x 7.5 m) is to be constructed at the outlet of the culvert. The pool is to be lined with R250 rip-rap and contain six (6) 1 m boulders throughout. Temporary gravel roads/ pads are to be constructed in the wetland for project access. The project is to result in the permanent impact of 480 square metres and 225 square metres of provincially significant wetland and wetland area, respectively, which is to be compensated at a ratio of 2:1
