Tampa Bay Water is soliciting services to replace the pumps, motors, well houses, electrical equipment, flow measurement, and isolation piping improvements at 24 well sites as well as the demolition and disposal of the existing overhead electric, well houses and equipment. This project also includes the construction of new paved and gravel access roads, repairs to existing access roads, site grading and the demolition and removal of stables, structures, and septic tanks in accordance to the Invitation to Bid, Specifications and Drawings. Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the Tampa Bay Water Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. M/wbe's Are Encouraged to Participate in the Bid Process. Must receive bids no later than said date and time. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened.
This Will Be the Only Site Visit Offered. Additional Photographs of the Sites Are Provided in the Bid Documents for Those Who Choose Not to Attend the Site Visit. Tampa Bay Water Reserves the Right to Cancel the Site Visit if Inclement Weather or Wet/muddy Road Conditions Warrant Cancellation. Due to Covid-19 and Direction From the State of Florida and Tampa Bay Water Management's Instructions That Staff, Contractors and the Public Should Avoid Public Gatherings, the Pre-bid Meeting Will Be Held via Conference Call. All Parties Interested in the Conference Call Should Use the Following Conference Call Dial-in Information. Bidders, Subcontractors and Suppliers Interested in Participating in the Site Visit Should Pre-register Their Attendance in Advance via Email to Regina Kavanagh at Rkavanagh@tampabaywater.org. The Site Visit Will Begin Immediately After the Pre-bid Conference Call. You Can Join the Conference Call From Any Location That is Convenient for You Unless You Want to Join in the Site Visit. Participants Interested in the Site Visit Shall Assemble at (Lat: 28 9'31.12"N, Long: 82 38'5.95"W), Huckavalle Road, Odessa, Fl 33556 and Are Instructed to Call From Their Vehicles and Remain on the Conference Call to Begin the Site Visit in a Caravan Fashion Behind a Host Vehicle to the Project Sites of Interest. Tampa Bay Water Staff Will Narrate a Description of the Sites as the Caravan Progresses. All Parties Should Be Aware That Some of the Roads Are Unpaved, and Under-developed So Low Clearance Vehicles Are Highly Discouraged. Additionally, at the Site There is a Pedestrian Trail and Roaming Cattle. All Participants Are at Their Own Risk for Their Own Vehicles and Mode of Transportation. Tampa Bay Water May Issue Addenda as Necessary in Response to Questions Arising at the Conference. Please Note That Once the Site Visit Begins No Questions Will Be Taken During the Conference Call.
