Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pineville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade library.
The new Pineville Town Hall will incorporate a new Civic Green Space in front of the existing Police Department. The work consists of a new building to house the Pineville Town Hall offices and chamber on the second floor and library on the first floor.There will be a shared two-story lobby at the entry plaza. The building will consist of a slab on grade with steel structure, brick veneer, an elevated roof over the chamber, and brick tower features at the entrance and all four corners. Contractors are invited to pre-qualify for the following Trade Packages (but not limited to): concrete, masonry, steel, casework, roofing, waterproofing and sealants, fireproofing, doors/frames/hardware, glass, drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, tile, painting, specialties, elevator, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, site work, and landscaping. These packages are a description of the work and not the final list of trade packages; the CM reserves the right to add or delete trade packages. All Prequalified bidders are required to seek Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation. Firms are encouraged to consider all possibilities for participation. Bidders must be properly licensed under all state laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the respective trades and work to be performed. The General Statutes of the State of North Carolina applicable to license requirements, submission of bids, and award of public contracts shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work. Further information may be required in addition to this pre-qualification statement based on your response. These items may include additional financial statements, proof of applicable licenses, certification status, safety program/policy, drug and alcohol program/policy, additional project experience, and or certificates of insurance. Completing this statement does not guarantee pre-qualification. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all pre-qualifications. This project shall include all goals and objectives of the owner. Edifice invites all local, minority contractors and suppliers to participate in the prequalification and bidding process.
