Renovation of an educational facility in Cary, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of May 2021, construction documents are expected to be complete in late June 2021. Bidding is estimate to take place in the late summer of 2021. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Removal of the existing steep slope roof system(asphalt shingles) and installation of a new standing seam metal roof on Roof Areas C1, C3 and K1(approximately 62,400 square feet) and roof replacement of the existing low slope roof system(asphalt BUR) on Roof Areas B4, B6 and Canopy's 3 and 4(approximately 2,700 square feet). Professional Services Required - Firm will provide turnkey design services including but not limited to roof design, bidding, construction administration and project closeout. Schedule - Qualifications submitted July 10, 2020 with design fee negotiations immediately following the selection with an anticipated design notice to proceed of August 28, 2020. Selection Criteria & Format of Proposal - The qualifications presented will be used for ranking and selection. Insurance - The selected design firm must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of professional liability insurance.
