The Town is proposing to procure one contractor to perform two separate scopes under two separate contracts. One contract with the developer for Federal EPA RLF funds and one contract with the town for state brownfield funds. The work consists of remediating a 1.65 acre parcel formerly occupied by Beaton and Corbin, whose op-erations included metal machining and metal plating. The work includes excavation and disposal of approximately 1200 cubic yards of petroleum, solvent and metal-impacted soils, removal of a 1,000 gallon underground gasoline storage tank, and a 10,000 gallon #4 fuel oil above ground storage tank.
