The Project generally involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the Curtis Wharf Corrosion Repairs and Cathodic Protection System - Phase 1 in Anacortes, Washington as detailed in the project drawings and specifications. The Project generally consists of, but is not limited to: implementation of temporary site controls, traffic/pedestrian controls, marine environmental/water quality controls, and temporary erosion and sediment controls; demolition and disposal of damaged timber piling sections and other components as specified; repairs of timber piling as identified; and rehabilitation of steel pipe pilings and other components, as more fully defined in the Contract Documents. The Port of Anacortes reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability therefore, to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process, or to re-bid the Project. All questions regarding the Project must be submitted by email to the Port's Project Manager - Jenkins Dossen, jenkins.dossen@portofanacortes.com with the subject line referencing "Bid Inquiry - Curtis Wharf Corrosion Repairs and Cathodic Protection System - Phase 1 Project." Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. In an effort to maintain a fair bidding environment, no questions will be answered at the pre-bid conference. All potential bidders are encouraged to attend this conference.
