Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Swanton, Vermont. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Swanton is requesting proposals for engineering services for a project to construct a sidewalk from Swanton Village to the Missisquoi Valley Union High School entrance which funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration and the Town of Swanton, through the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) Municipal Assistance Bureau (MAB). The project will begin at the eastern boundary of Swanton Village on VT Route 78 (First St) where the existing sidewalk ends. The project will continue along Route 78 easterly approximately 3100' to Thunderbird Drive (MVU driveway). All questions related to this request for proposal shall be addressed to Ms. Remmers no later than July 7, 2020. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
