The initial estimates were in the range of $90,000 to $100,000. Install two new 6-foot long Type C storm inlets. Demolish and remove 170 LF of existing curb and asphalt pavement. Construct over 200 linear feet concrete curb. Construct over 800 linear feet concrete sidewalk. Construct accessible ramps. Restore pavement along new curb. Place pavement markings as detailed on project plans. Install stormwater berm in wooded area for infiltration area. Work is more fully described in the project plans and specifications. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish a completed E-Verify form, and furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as further described in the contract documents. A Maintenance Bond, as a guarantee against defective workmanship and/or materials, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total contract payment to the contractor, shall be submitted to the Owner upon completion and acceptance of the work required to be performed under the contract. The Maintenance Bond shall be in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from written notification by the Owner of completion and acceptance. LFT reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Bids may be held by LFT for a period not to exceed sixty days from the date of the opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. Goshen Road Sidewalk Construction must be completed within 60 days of the contractor's receipt of Notice to Proceed. This time period will apply for any contract award whether individually or collectively. The Contractor will not be permitted to work on weekends or holidays without special permission from the Owner.
