**As of 8/4/2020 Project has not been awarded yet , award time frame will be August 11,2020. Work shall consist of the following approximate quantities: 50 square yards of base repair, 20,000 square yards of milling, 2,400 tons of surface course paving, 5 storm drainage inlet reconstructions, 7 storm drainage structure repairs with frame and grate replacement, 13,500 linear feet of parking space striping, numbering of 529 parking spaces, 2 stop bars, handicap crossing striping, handicapped parking space markings, and other related work items. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Little Silver, bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Borough of Little Silver, as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality of any bid.
