**As of October 2, 2020, the project has been awarded for $361,856.46.** This project consists of Bridge Repairs to the CR775 Bridge over Ainger Creek (Bridge #010062). The project includes concrete repairs, expansion joint repairs, clean and seal bridge deck and approach slabs, approach guard rail replacement, replace sidewalk approach slabs, new concrete gravity wall (safety repair), replace portions of sidewalks, new aluminum pipe railing, replace existing rip rap at end bents, cleaning bridge and class V coating, replace pavement markings, as indicated on the construction plans. Estimated Budget: $440,937.50. No Local license required. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for this Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount not less than five per cent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after scheduled opening of bids. Cashier's Checks (as bid bond) will be returned to all bidders after award of bid. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days. The Contract Time shall include the preparation, submittal, review and approval of submittals, delivery of components and materials, construction, erection, assembly, adjustment and placement into service for beneficial use of all facilities covered under this contract. If awarded the contract, the Contractor shall furnish a Performance and Payment Bond bound to "Charlotte County" to the Purchasing Division within 14 calendar days after notification of award. In addition, the Contractor shall be responsible and bear all costs associated to record Performance and Payment Bond with the Charlotte County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Receipt of said recording shall be furnished to the Purchasing Division. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission of bids. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County. Any sole response received the first submission date may be rejected by the County depending on available competition and timely needs of the County.
