Any proposals that are not timely received in the office of the City Clerk shall be returned unopened. The general description of work includes: Installation of Urethane roof coating at Police Headquarters, 660 Merchant Street, McBride Senior Center, 91 Town Square Place, and Three Oaks Community Center, 110 Alamo Drive. If additional bidders are interested in attending, additional meetings will be scheduled in one hour increments starting at 11:00 A.M. and will also be limited to six attendees. In keeping with Solano County Public Health recommended practices for COVID-19, all attendees will be required to wear protective face coverings and practice social distancing. All prospective bidders are required to attend. Bidders who fail to attend will be considered non-responsive, and their bids will be rejected by the City. The Contractor shall possess a C-39 License at the time a bid is submitted for this Project. This Contract is subject to State Contract Nondiscriminatory and Compliance Requirements pursuant to California Government Code, commencing with Section 12900 through Section 12996. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract within ten (10) calendar days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and designated Legal Holidays, after date of the Notice of Award letter. Any bids received from a bidder who did not purchase a complete bid set from BPXpress Reprographics will be considered non-responsive, and their bid shall be rejected. The City also reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any proposal or bid. Proposals in which the prices are obviously unbalanced may be rejected.
