Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, special instructions for delivery of bid packages, opening of bid packages, and any changes to location, date, or time of the bid opening will be issued in a project addendum, as needed, prior to Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Principal items of work include approximately 10,200 LF of Sanitary Sewer Main Line Cleaning, TV Inspection, and CIPP Lining; approximately 380 VF of Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation; and related appurtenances. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at The Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Monroeville, 69 West Claiborne St., Monroeville, AL 36460 and at the office of Civil Southeast, LLC., 1831 East Three Notch Street, Andalusia, Alabama 36421. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1985, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
