Renovation of a water / sewer project in Chelsea, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The CONTRACTOR shall provide construction and other professional and technical services to the COUNTY to include, but not necessarily be limited to, being responsible for all labor, equipment and material necessary for the removal of an existing pump and installation of a new pump in compliance with county rules and regulations, industry standards and Attachment "A" hereby made part of this contract. The Shelby County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in awarding this bid to the lowest bidder. Bidders are to state that bids submitted are firm and that no claims for errors will be made after bids are opened and subsequent thereof. If you have any questions concerning this bid, please contact Michael Cain at mcain@shelbyal.com. Services to be provided shall commence upon execution of this contract and will continue for a period of time not to exceed 150 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed unless extended upon written agreement by and between COUNTY and CONTRACTOR. All questions shall be submitted to Michael Cain via email to mcain@shelbyal.com no later than 1 week prior to the bid date. All questions shall be answered in writing both individually and in a combined addendum. Vendor shall note receipt of this addendum on their quotation page. Performance and Payment bonds with penalty equal to 100% of contract price before commencing work
