It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have all pertinent information regarding solicitations, including all amendments prior to submitting their offer. Please check the website, even after submitting a bid, to ensure that you have all amendments as they may be posted at any time, up to and including the day of bid opening. Bidders must complete and submit all forms included in this packet. Federal clauses and forms are mandatory and must be signed and submitted prior to award (if applicable) payment and performance bonds for the amount of bid are required if bid equals or exceeds $25,000.00 The bidder agrees, to furnish all items [supplies or services] at the prices offered, and delivered at the designated point or points, within the time set forth in the schedule, if this bid is accepted within ninety [90] consecutive days from the date set for the receipt of bids. All bids shall expire on the 90th day after the bids are open unless the city of el paso requests an extension of the bids in writing and the bidder agrees to extend in writing. Bidder must return solicitation cover sheet and "informal bid form" with his offer The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive all technicalities, and to accept the bid or bids that are determined to be the most favorable to the city. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and all blank Spaces for bid prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten. line item Entries shall prevail over sum total entries. when discrepancies exist between unit prices And corresponding extended prices, unit prices shall prevail. Bids with blank spaces for Bid prices will be considered non-responsive and bid will not be considered. Improvements will consist of surface preparation including: chipping, cleaning, preparing concrete inlet walls for placement of new concrete material and per plans and specifications. The project will include all necessary mobilization, demobilization, traffic control measures with approval from all necessary departments, storm-water best management practices and cleanup after inlet remediation. The project shall comply with all applicable City codes and Ordinances and Capital Improvement Department Guidelines.
