Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in New Braunfels, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 26,500-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of September 22,2020 the City of New Braunfels City Council has authorized the award for CSP 20-018 Construction of Fire Stations #2 & #3 to Seidel Construction. The projects were awarded at the following values: FS2 - $5,786,300 and FS3 -$4,746,000. The start date has not been issued but is anticipated for Oct-November. For Construction of Fire Stations 2 and 3 Project description: Fire Station 2 is approximately 15,000 sq ft with 4 bays and living quarters for 10 firefighters and 3 officers. Fire Station 3 is approximately 11,500 sq ft with 3 bays and living quarters for 6 firefighters and 1 officer. Both are new construction, two story steel-framed buildings with structural slab-on-void foundations. All questions regarding the bidding documents shall be submitted to the City of New Braunfels Purchasing Manager in writing. Written questions shall be submitted to Barbara Coleman at: bcoleman@nbtexas.org. Questions may be submitted no later than 3:00 pm (CST), July 30, 2020.
