Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burke, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Burke will receive sealed bids for Asphaltic Chip Seal The project consists of chip seal of approximately 33,827 square yards of pavement on Park Knoll Dr, Sun Hill Dr, Sunburst Rd, Portage Rd and striping on Portage Rd (from Rattman to Anderson). It is anticipated that the Burke Town Board will select and award the contract the evening of Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting, which starts at 6:15 p.m. If the bid is accepted, the bidder shall submit the required certificate of insurance within 5 days after notice of award. Failure on the part of the bidder will result in the withdrawal of the award All work awarded is to be completed during the 2020 construction season no later than October 1, 2020 and must be warranted for a minimum of one year The Town of Burke reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicalities, and accept any bid, which it deems advantageous to the Town. The Town also reserves the right to decrease the size of the initial plan based on budgetary limitations. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Town of Burke for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of closing bids.
