Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Homestead, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed Bids, for the installation of new conduit from the corner of Flagler Avenue and Civic Court to the front of the Homestead Utilities Building. In addition, for the installation of a new fiber optic cable from I.T.S Telecom Room in City Hall to the old I.T.S Room in Homestead Utilities Building, from a source of supply that will give prompt and efficient service. Pursuant to subsection (t) "Cone of Silence," of Section 2-11.1 "Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Ordinance" of Miami-Dade County, public notice is hereby given that a "Cone of Silence" is imposed concerning this City's competitive purchasing process, which generally prohibits communications concerning the RFP until such time as the City Manager makes a written recommendation to the City Council concerning the competitive purchase transac-tion. Please see the detailed specification for the public solicitation for goods or services for a statement fully disclosing the requirements of the "Cone of Silence." The City Council reserves the right to waive irregularities or technicalities in proposals or reject all proposals or any part of any proposal they deem necessary for the best interest of the City of Homestead, Florida.
