Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manawa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work, in general, will include the ap-proximate quantities and items listed be-low: 1,615 CY - Common Excavation; 620 Tons - Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement; 770 CY - Crushed Aggregate Base Course; and 1,525 LF - Remove & Replace Con-crete Curb & Gutter. The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the propos-al or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. Complete digital project bidding docu-ments are available electronically This project is part of a Local Road Improvement (LRIP) Project. Prequalification of Bidders will not be re-quired. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date of open-ing. The City of Manawa reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
