New construction of a library in Portland, Oregon. Working plans call for the construction of a library.

The Multnomah County Library has been analyzing possible sites for that new library - and will be in conversation with the City of Gresham to determine its final location. Per the construction manager, as of June 29, 2021, they plan to select an architect at the end of July 2021 and start design in August 2021. Construction manager states that the construction will be done in packages. Construction is set to start July 2024. The project should be completed by January 31, 2025.
