Project generally comprises site improvements to include seeding of select areas with special seeds, planting of shade, flowering and evergreen trees, and shrubs; and restoration to all existing seeded and paved areas disturbed by construction operations. The Work shall be substantially completed within 330 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in General Conditions Paragraph 2.03 as amended by the Supplementary Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 345 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run Questions must be submitted Electronically and will not be received in any other manner. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting and site visit is not mandatory, but it is recommended. The Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities not involving price, time, or change in the Work, in any Bid. It is a requirement of this Contract that at least 50% of the Work be performed by prime Bidder’s own work force, not by subcontractor(s). TMP #'s: 18-4-120.2, 18-4-120.1, & 18-4-132.1 Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for ten percent (10%) of the Bid total of the General Conditions sets forth Owner's requirements as to Performance and Payment Bonds to be provided by the Contractor. When the apparent Successful Bidder delivers the signed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by the required Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, on the forms provided in the Bidding Documents.
