Sierra Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Sixth Street Intersection to Detroit Street The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done here under consist of AC Mill and Overlay, AC pavement reconstruction with aggregate base, curb & gutter, adjustment of manholes and valves and signage and striping on Sierra Avenue and all appurtenant related work to the satisfaction and acceptance of the City Engineer. Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee consisting of a certified check or bid bond payable to the AGENCY in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid. The withdrawal of a proposal will not prejudice the right of the Bidder to submit a new proposal, providing there is time to do so. Proposals may not be withdrawn after said hour without forfeiture of the proposal guarantee. In the event that any Bidder, acting as a prime Contractor, has an interest in more than one proposal, all such proposals will be rejected, and the Bidder will be disqualified. Written requests will be accepted via the United States Postal Service or via the internet address of snelson@ci.norco.ca.us. There are 45 working days allowed to complete this project, including any and all alternatives. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $500.00 per working day.
