Site work and paving for a road / highway in Leesburg, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project provides for the planning, design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of a four-lane median divided road as a major collector between Sycolin Road and the Dulles Greenway on a 120-foot-wide right-of-way. The project also includes shared-use paths on both sides of Crosstrail Boulevard and the construction of a bridge over Sycolin Creek. The project's budget was increased during the FY 2025 CIP budget development process based on the most recent cost estimate. This project provides for the planning, design, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, and construction of a four-lane median divided road as a Major Collector between Sycolin Road and the Dulles Greenway on a 120-foot-wide ROW. The project also includes shared use paths on both sides of Crosstrail Boulevard, a bridge over Sycolin Creek, and the connection of Compass Creek Parkway to Crosstrail Boulevard. As of July 8, 2024, project is currently in the Design phase. Scheduled to bid in Summer 2024-Fall 2024 and award scheduled for Winter 2025. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2025 with completion FY2027.
