The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the Coastal Lane to Columbia Lane Forcemain Project. The project consists of constructing approximately 1,620 linear feet (LF) of new sewer forcemain from Coastal Lane to Columbia Lane approximately 0.4 miles north of U.S. Highway 192 in West Melbourne, Florida. Included in that 1,620 LF is approximately 780 LF of 14" HDPE forcemain that will be directional drilled under Interstate 95. The remaining portions of the forcemain will be restrained 12" PVC pipe installed by trenching. Various demolition and restoration of items within the project areas will be required (including sod, trees, etc.). All bids shall be based on the bid documents, specifications, and project drawings included within the bid package. The duration of the contract shall be for 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to Final Completion, with Substantial Completion within 90 days from NTP. Meeting and submittal dates shall be specified in the delivery schedule. Under no circumstances shall any bid offer be accepted after the above stipulated date and time. All bids will be stamped as to the date and time the bid was submitted. The date and time stamp shall be used to determine the timely basis of all bids. The supply, delivery, construction, equipment quantity, unit price and total cost amount of the referenced project shall be based on the design drawings and bid documents.
