The requirements of this solicitation can only be altered by written amendment of the solicitation. Verbal communications from whatever source are of no effect. Questions must be received by the deadline specified on the cover sheet to allow the Procurement Officer to issue any needed amendments in sufficient time before the bid opening date Bidders with a disability that needs an accommodation must contact the Procurement Officer prior to the deadline for receipt of bids so that reasonable accommodation can be made A copy of the contractor's license or certificate of renewal thereof issued by the Secretary of State shall be provided with the bid, but in a separate, sealed, and labeled envelope. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids as provided by Chapter 43-07 of the North Dakota Century Code. No bid will be considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions.No bid bond is required. Scope of WorkWilkerson Commons rooftop ductwork AHU-1 and AHU-2. To replace insulation and put in place a protective barrier on external duct work that will shed the water and provide superior protection from the elements. - Ventureclad, Alumiclad or similar will NOT be allowed - Duct work must be sloped or crowned to shed water. As per original specs: - Insulation shall be 2 layers of 2" rigid Styrofoam, Dow (see attached) or equal, with the seams offset. - Insulation shall be secured to the duct to prevent air gaps. Additional specs: - Insulation shall have a protective metal cover of either .024" aluminum or .023" sheet metal. - Metal cover will have an embossed stucco finish. - The tops shall be sloped or pitched to prevent pooling. - Joints will be caulked or 1" to 1 1/2 " standing seam and weather lapped to prevent leaks. - Metal covers will be securely fastened to the duct. - All ductwork penetrating walls will be sealed to make waterproof.
