The SMWVB goal on this project is20% Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the 2019 Dead End Water Main Elimination Project, SAWS Job No. 19-4004, for the construction at the following sites: Jamar Boulevard: 140 LF of 12 DI water main by boring method and 50 LF by open cut method W Travis Street: 49 LF of 8 HDPE water main by open-cut method and 232 LF of 8 HDPE by HDD W Quincy Street: 296 LF of 8 PVC water main by open-cut method and 12 LF of 6 DI water main by open-cut method. W Buchanan Street: 330 LF of 8 PVC water main and 5 LF of 6 PVC water main by open-cut method San Fernando Street: 68 LF of 8 HDPE water main by open-cut method and 264 LF of 8 HDPE by HDD Blackhawk Pass: 14 LF of 3 PVC water main, 837 LF of 8 PVC water main, and 35 LF of 12 PVC by open-cut method. Electronic bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashiers check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the apparent low bidder.
