Site work and paving for a civil project in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for constructing approximately i.) 492 lineal feet of 15- or 24-inch diameter storm drain pipe, ii.) 294 lineal feet of 8- inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, iii.) 3,900 cubic yards of basin excavation, iv.) 24,000 square feet of asphalt-concrete paving, v.) and expansion of the household hazardous waste area by constructing 360-feet of 6-foot chain link fence with gates, plus vi.) doing all other work specified on the plans and in the specifications. The Project includes work to be included in the Contract at the option of the Agency, and for which bids are requested at the Bid Due Date and Time noticed above, under the subtitles, "Bid Option A, 175-Feet of Additional Storm Drain" Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
