Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Diamond Bar, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,000-square-foot golf course; for site work for a golf course; and water / sewer project.
The PROJECT is to renovate the Diamond Bar Golf Course. In order to maintain the overall course yardage of 6,807 yards and provide the same total course par of 72, the PROJECT will realign and reconfigure six holes in the westerly portion of the course and three in the easterly half. The reconfiguration of the course includes alterations to existing holes. This project also includes improvements (reconstruction and realignment) for: - 120-inch Storm Drain Reinforced Concrete Pipe - Maintenance Facility Replacement - Southern California Edison Distribution and Transmission Relocation Project Limits: The planned freeway improvements directly impact six golf holes (Nos. 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 11) located along the northerly perimeter of the golf course and on either side of Grand Avenue. Project Scope Items: The project work includes, but is not limited to the construction of typical golf course features such as course reconfiguration, grading, domestic and fire water lines, storm drain improvements, maintenance facility, demolition, irrigation system replacement, and SCE relocations. Temporary work consists of shoring, excavation support systems and provide traffic control features. The project cost estimate is $ 35,000,000 to $ 40,000,000. Special requirements: The Golf Course will be closed for the Project's duration, and all work associated with this Project will be done during this time. Contractor must comply with all environmental mitigation measures. Contractor shall possess a valid California Contractor's Class A license. Contractors and subcontractors who bid or work on this PROJECT must register and pay an annual fee to the Department of Industrial Relations. All persons performing the work shall be paid not less than the General Prevailing Wage Determination prepared by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to the California Labor Code. The AGENCY's Labor Compliance Program will be enforced. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any minor irregularity and to take all bids under advisement for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days or such further period as the Bidders may agree to in writing. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The lowest bid shall be the lowest bid price as identified as the TOTAL BID AMOUNT IN FIGURES (SCHEDULE A + SCHEDULE B + SCHEDULE C + SCHEDULE D + SCHEDULE E +SCHEDULE F + SCHEDULE G + SCHEDULE H + SCHEDULE I + SCHEDULE J + SCHEDULE K + SCHEDULE L + SCHEDULE M) in the Bid Proposal (Part C) without consideration of the prices on the additive or deductive items.
