Request for Qualifications and Sealed Cost Proposal (RFQ/P) to Perform Lease-Leaseback (L/LB) PreConstruction and Construction Services for the Building Envelope Remediation Project located at various elementary school campuses. The Elk Grove Unified School District is issuing this RFQ/P to select a General Contractor (holding a Class B license), to perform L/LB constructability review, value engineering, master scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting and construction services for the Project in accordance with the L/LB structure set forth in Education Code Section 17406 et seq. The Project consists of four (4) distinct sites: Joseph Sims, Arlene Hein, Prairie, and John Ehrhardt Elementary Schools. The submitting Contractors shall be pre-qualified with the District no less than ten (10) days prior to submittal of the RFQ/P. This Project has a goal of 3% Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation per the State Allocation Board requirements. The District will not be responsible for any errors in the RFQ/P and reserves the right to reject any and all SOQ/P, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the SOQ/P, and to request further information.
