Site work for a water / sewer project in Auburn, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project provides for the replacement of approximately 2,350 LF of existing 6" cast iron water main with 12" ductile iron pipe water main on Dunning Ave., from Center Street south to the City Line. Approximately 1,300 LF of new 12" ductile iron pipe water main is proposed for West Clymer Street, from Dunning Ave. to Lexington Ave. The bid shall include all labor, material, equipment, accessories and appurtenances in accordance with the Contract Documents. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Information for Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 45 days after the actual date of opening thereof. All work of the contract shall be entirely completed and performed by June 18, 2021. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
