The project consists of approximately 10,200 linear feet of 8-inch (8") cured in place pipe (CIPP) sanitary sewer rehabilitation; 900 linear feet of 10-inch (10") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation; 2,400 linear feet of 12-inch (12") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation; 600 linear feet of 15-inch (15") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation; 350 linear feet of 18-inch (18") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation; 25 sanitary sewer lead repairs; 9 sanitary sewer point repairs; and various repairs to 111 sanitary sewer manholes. The project is located in Harris County, Texas approximately 25 miles from the Central Business District (CBD) of the city of Houston. The District is generally bounded to the north by FM 529, to the south by Clay Road, to the west by Windsong Trail, and to the east by Highway 6. The bidder shall submit either a two percent (2%) certified cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Either-or, Not Both Attention: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, unless you are a publicly traded entity or a wholly owned subsidiary of same, you must be able to provide Barker-Cypress Municipal Utility District (the "District") with printed and signed copies of a completed disclosure of interested parties form (Form 1295) and a certificate of filing at the time of the District's execution of the contract. Failure to do so will result in the District's inability to execute the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the date bids are open. If the Contract Price is equal to or greater than $1,000,000, Contractor, pursuant to the Government Code Section 552.372, shall: The CONTRACTOR must preserve all Contracting Information related to the Contract as provided by the records retention requirements applicable to the Owner for the duration of the Contract; Promptly provide to the Owner any Contracting Information related to the Contract that is in the custody or possession of the entity on request of the Owner; and on completion of the Contract, either: provide at no cost to the Owner all Contracting Information related to the Contract that is in the custody or possession of the entity, or (ii) preserve the Contracting Information related to the Contract as provided by the records retention requirements applicable to the Owner. Contracting Information means the following: 1) information in a voucher or contract relating to the receipt or expenditure of public funds by a governmental body; 2) solicitation or bid documents relating to a contract with a governmental body; 3) communications sent between a governmental body and a vendor, contractor, potential vendor, or potential contractor during the solicitation, evaluation, or negotiation of a contract; 4) documents, including bid tabulations, showing the criteria by which a governmental body evaluates each vendor, contractor, potential vendor, or potential contractor responding to a solicitation and, if applicable, an explanation of why the vendor or contractor was selected; and 5) communications and other information sent between a governmental body and a vendor or contractor related to the performance of a final contract with the governmental body or work performed on behalf of the governmental body.
