Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North New Hyde Park, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of September 21, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is by next month. The purpose of this project is to provide improvements to various locations within the Port Washington School District and includes the installation of new concrete sidewalks, concrete pedestrian ramps and/or detectable warning surfaces, new thermoplastic crosswalks and signs and the relocation of signs and chain link fence in the project area. This project is a federal-aided contract subject to the approval of New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Whenever municipal contract terms and requirements differ from federal requirements, the federal requirements will prevail. Contract term: 90 days Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5.8% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 6.9%
