The work consists of the rehabilitation of the one-million-gallon Causeway Water Storage Tank. Deposit on the first set of documents furnished bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of documents in good condition no later than ten (10) days after receipts of bids The Work of this Contract comprises of the rehabilitation of the one-million-gallon Causeway Water Storage Tank which shall include the following per recommendations in the General Condition Assessment Report and per the specifications: A. General: A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. Furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor which is reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. Protect all existing work from damage. It is intended that any existing Work in place shall be repaired to original condition if damaged by Work of this Contract. Interior Repair of Tank: o Replacement of ladder from bowl to roof per code requirements. o Full blast ofinterior surface and paint. o Pit repair by welding. o Pit repair by epoxy filler. Exterior Repair: o Air vent replacement per AWWA specifications. o Weld anchor nuts. o Full blast of exterior surface and paint. o Replacement of tower ladders per code requirements. o Replace vandal guard per AWWA specifications. o Structural repair and electrical conduit replacement in accordance with recommendation in Assessment Report. All electrical work associated with air vent and conduit replacement shall be performed by certified electrical contractor.
