Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 120,599-square-foot, five-story above grade, one-story below grade, 158-unit, 112-space multi-residential development; four-story above grade multi-residential development; three-story above grade multi-residential development; and for the demolition of a multi-residential development.

Construction of an affordable housing development comprised of one 4-storey apartment building, one 5-storey apartment building, three townhouse blocks and single level underground vehicle and bicycle parking. The project will also include a 1,450-square-foot amenity space attached to the 5-storey apartment building. The redevelopment requires the demolition of 18 units on the site currently operated by Capital Region Housing Corporation (CRHC) at 1211 Gladstone Avenue and 4 units operated by BC Housing/M'akola at 1218 North Park Street. The housing project will be built on land owned by School District 61 and leased to the CRHC for a 60 year term. Addresses at: 1235 Caledonia Ave; 1211 Gladstone Ave; 1230 Grant St; 1209, 1218, 1219, 1220 & 1226 North Park St; and 1219 Vining St, in the Fernwood neighbourhood of Victoria. TIMELINE: All major trades are secured *Herold Engineering is the building envelope engineering consultant.
