Design, build, finance and maintain construction of a new adult correctional facility. Scope to include: male and female housing units; inmate services; health programs/clinics; and support staff facilities. Capacity of twice as many inmates as HMP. TIMELINE: Avalon Correctional Partners is the preferred design-build team. Estimated project costs are being re-evaluated to account for inflation; new estimated costs are not yet confirmed. At this time, no timelines are available for when project will proceed into design and construction. Update may be confirmed late 2024.
