Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Dumas, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids will be received for the General Construction of the renovations of the parking lots of Medical Office Building 1 and Medical Office Building. If plans and specifications are not returned to the Architect within the time specified, or if no bona fide bid is submitted, the entire deposit will be retained. Extra or additional set(s) will be furnished to Bidders at the cost of reproduction; such documents shall be returned to the Architect in good condition. Subcontractors and Material Suppliers can obtain sets or partial sets of documents by paying the cost of reproduction of drawings and specifications requested; in no case will Subcontractors and Material Suppliers be reimbursed for the cost of reproduction. The cost of mailing of plans and specifications will be at Contractor's and/or Material Supplier's expense. A certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond payable to the Owner, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into contract and execute performance bond and payment bond within ten days after notice of awarding of contract. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the proposal, the Owner reserves the right to adopt prices written in words, or to reject the Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept any bid deemed advantageous; and to waive all formalities. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new entrance drive and new parking area for MOB 1. This will increase the parking lot from 37 spaces to 66 spaces. No increase in accessible spaces will be required. Also included in this project is the construction of a new entrance drive and new parking area for MOB 2. This will increase the parking lot from 45 spaces to 88 spaces. An increase of one accessible space will be required. The removal of nine existing parking spaces will be part of this project to provide space needed for a 996 square foot addition to the existing clinic. All work including demolition, dirt work, paving, concrete work and stripe painting and all other associated work to be let in one (1) contract.
