Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Odell, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Supply and installation of construction access, environmental protection, safety barricades, and trail closed/warning signs as required. .2 Excavation of abutment foundations as indicated on Drawings. .3 Supply and installation of steel piles as indicated on Drawings. .4 Supply and erection of abutment formwork. .5 Supply and installation of abutment reinforcing steel as indicated on Drawings. .6 Supply and installation of abutment concrete as indicated on Drawings. .7 Supply and installation of scour protection as indicated on Drawings. .8 Design, Supply and installation of pre-engineered superstructure. .9 Supply and installation of timber approach railing as indicated on Drawings. .10 Removal of temporary works and project site clean-up. Contractors are reminded that they must receive tender documents for bidding purposes from the office of Construction Tendering - Buildings (Division), Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Fredericton NB, 506-453-2706. Only those tenders submitted by bidders listed as having received tender documents from the Central Tendering - Buildings Division office shall be considered.
