The project is expected to be awarded on December 27, 2025.** The project consists of roadway widening along a 1.6-mile section of Pleasant Valley Road to construct Class II Bicycle Lanes from Las Posas Road to west of Fifth Street. The project includes pavement preparation and widening, clearing and grubbing, backfill, driveway aprons, headwalls, curb & gutter, concrete-lined channel, embankment reconstruction, asphalt overlay, signing and striping, bike lane delineators, guardrail, rumble strip, modular wetlands, drainage improvements, and related work. The bid security shall be an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total annual bid amount included with their proposals as required by California law. The DBE contract goal is 17 percent. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in the bids, and to make an award or any rejection in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the City.
